They march to a different drummer.  When Mediterranean styling was all the rage, they went down another road.  When Traditional was the styling often chosen, they chose a different path.  When Retro returned, much to their chagrin, because they didn’t like it the first time around, they searched for other decors more appealing.

Through the years they’ve designed and space-planned and staged, finding what they could, using what they would, and fighting the short term trends at every corner.  They began by searching within a hundred mile radius of where they live, looking for something different from the status quo.  And to no avail.  All furniture stores seem to carry the same styles, the same brands, the same typical bedroom sets and entertainment centers.  What happened to the boutique stores, filled with one of a kind pieces, unusual accent selections, and accessories they’d like in their homes?

Then came the internet searches, hours and hours of searches to find just one piece that would be pleasing to the eye and easy on the budget.  It took weeks and then months to find products and pieces they love.  In addition, they hung out at art shows, attended trade shows throughout the region, and travelled down dusty roads to find fine craftsmen and their unusual wares.

That’s when they started to envision their website.  Surely there would be enough people like them, yearning for something different, who would love a one stop shopping idea, and who have similar taste in décor.  Traditional they are not.  Retro they are most definitely not.  But elegant French Country, distressed Rustic Farmhouse, comfortable Cozy Cottage, and romantic Vintage they are!
