This rough-and-tumble Western is all about following a dream. Grover Stone can hardly wait to explore the Wild West that he’s been reading about since childhood. After losing his parents, the young man leaves New York and heads West.
Grover settles down in northwest Montana, where he becomes a cowboy, and later a buys a ranch, the Bar C. His life takes many twists and turns as he survives an ambush, cattle stampedes, blizzards and affairs of the heart. But through it all, as an old man looking back, he knows that that he has truly lived the life of his dreams.
About the Author: Richard L. Fletcher is a retired controller. At 82, he has been married for 60 years. Fletcher began parachuting at age 60 and got his private pilot license when he was 69. He lives in Oceanside, California, and is currently writing his next book, Eagle Down, about political assassination. His other books include Two Rode West and Dive, Dive Deep.
