Love Curry Presents The Scottish Curry Awards 2010
Nominations for this year’s Love Curry presents The Scottish Curry Awards have now closed, and with well over 5000 nominations coming in from all over Scotland the race to be crowned at this year’s awards ceremony, on June 15th at the Thistle Hotel, Glasgow, guarantees to be an extremely tight contest.
In addition to the postal and online votes, the Curry Awards team visited four major Scottish cities with the Love Curry trailer, enticing would-be voters with the promise of free Highland Spring water and a pack of pakora from Subzi Spice in exchange for a filled in nomination form.
So while The Curry King or Queen Award and The Lifetime Achievement Award stay under wraps until the night itself, the shortlisted nominees for this year’s Love Curry Presents The Scottish Curry Awards 2010 are:
