Our very own Rick Richards, of EuroMotorcars Germantown, gives us a great introduction to an all new Mercedes-Benz classic. Rick has been with EuroMotorcars Germantown now for a few years and has in-depth product knowledge and a “go to” attitude, which made him a natural in front of the camera. To start, Mercedes-Benz developed the E-Class Cabriolet for four adults for year round use. AIRCAP and AIRSCARF, two great new technologies, ensure a comfortable and warm environment even in the coldest of winters and also on chilly spring days!
As Rick shows, the AIRCAP system is an automatic wind deflector on the top of the windshield. When activated by a push of a button on the console, the passengers inside this luxury Mercedes-Benz vehicle experience a draft free and quiet ride. The accompanying draft stop located behind the rear seat passengers can also be raised to protect them from back drafts. The AIRSCARF system is integrated into the backrests of the front seats and blows warm air on your neck. It is easily adjusted on your preference and is his wife’s favorite part of this great vehicle. When used with the heated front seats, the front passengers remain warm even in the coldest temperatures.
The soft top gives the 2011 E-Class Cabriolet a classic convertible form and is one of the quietest in its segment when closed. The Cabriolet does not feel like a tradition convertible, but rather like any other hard top vehicle. And the 2011 E-Class Cabriolet comes with a sophisticated passenger protection system with optional headbags (airbags) in the rear as well as many other sophisticated safety systems that are the standard of Mercedes-Benz.
