Manchester based online marketing firm I-COM, which was recently nominated by Crain's as a finalist in its 'Best Places to Work 2010' competition, is seeking to recruit a PHP Developer and a PPC Executive.
The positions have become available thanks to an unprecedented period of fiscal growth for the firm and a series of new client wins.
According to I-COM's Operations Director, Mike Blackburn, "The Programmer needs problem-solving skills, and must be aware of the various considerations required to ensure effective search engine optimisation. They will be working very closely with the search team, improving sites technically to achieve better search engine listings.
"The PPC Executive will work on ensuring and continually improving the return on investment clients obtain from paid search advertising.
"Anyone interested in applying for these positions should send a covering e-mail and their CV to careers@i-com.net."
Crain's, a local weekly business newspaper for Manchester, based it's nomination of I-COM on the results of a survey completed by the company's employees.
Speaking about the nomination, I-COM MD Tim Roberts said: "Obviously, we’re thrilled that everyone who works here at I-COM feels this is a great place to work.
"We’re particularly pleased that we have been classed as a 'Big' company. We certainly don’t think we behave like a big organisation, as we try to keep a close-knit, family relationship with both our people and clients.”
"This is the first time we've entered, but we've always known that our people are key to our business success and we try to encourage them in their individuality, development and potential.”
