Moving day can come very quickly for some and families need to be prepared for that day. Families should be prepared as much as possible to minimize one of the top five most stressful situations a person can go through. Before moving day, families should consider the following:

• Prepare your children in advance for the move- Tell them immediately about the idea and give them some time to adjust. Have an honest question and answer session so you can address their fears and let them know you are interested in their thoughts and feelings.
