Follow on Google News | Wayne Allyn Root Endorses Snitker in U.S. Senate RaceEntrepreneur, author, and former Vice Presidential candidate Wayne Allyn Root gives his full endorsement to Libertarian Alexander Snitker in Florida's 2010 U.S. Senate race.
By: Snitker for Senate 2010 Root is the author of "The Conscience of a Libertarian,” “He has the charisma to spread the message of less government and more individual freedom, and he has the leadership to build consensus among voters,” Root said of Snitker. Snitker is running a grass-roots campaign with a platform of less government and more individual liberty, with specific proposals such as the FairTax, Congressional term limits, a balanced budget amendment and a non-interventionist foreign policy. While Snitker has received little attention from the major media, he claims to have hundreds of volunteers and a rapidly-growing support base. According to Alex Internet, a web traffic monitoring subsidiary of Amazon.com, Snitker’s web site receives roughly as much traffic as the web sites of his rivals Marco Rubio, Charlie Crist, and Kendrick Meek. Root’s endorsement may signal that the Snitker campaign is on the brink of emerging as a viable contender in the Florida U.S. Senate race, which to this point has been widely considered a three-way contest. A recent St. Petersburg Times poll found that 23% of voters remain undecided in this race. Since the poll did not include Snitker by name, there is some speculation that a significant portion of the undecided voters may be solidly in the Snitker camp. End
