Tom Andersen - Newly Appointed GM of Manlift Abu Dhabi
Andersen has made the transition from his previous role with Manlift Dubai as the Group Operations Manager and holds over 25 years experience in the generator and compressor industries. Norwegian by birth, he was employed for 20 years by Atlas Copco where he held several management positions both in Europe and Asia-Pacific. He has also worked in management roles for both Cummins Middle East and Comp Air Far East.
Andersen said: “I’m extremely happy to make the transition into my new role. We’ve got a great team here in Abu Dhabi and demand for both our access platforms and generators is extremely strong. It’s a very exciting time for Manlift since we have just begun to sell generators and this opens up a whole new chapter for us.”
Group Managing Director, John Ashcroft said, “I am delighted to have Tom move in to this role as he brings with him a wealth of technical experience and business knowledge. A large share of our business in the UAE remains in Abu Dhabi and I am confident that, in Tom’s hands, Manlift will continue to excel in this market.”
