Monaco Charity Film Festival (MCFF) was honored by the presence of the renowned Mexican actor Jaime Camil. Camil, who is known both for his work on screen and on stage, presented his romantic comedy “Regresa” that took the award for Best Entertaining Film. After the screening, Camil and the movie’s director Alejandro Rodriguez sat down with audiences for a discussion. The two shared their experiences in making the film and the essence behind its allegoric story. Rodriguez commented that most people “lie to their partners about love in order to protect their partners and maintain or even increase their love for each other.”
The film screened in Monaco two days before MCFF’s closing. Mr. Vicente-Andres Zaragoza, the founder and Chairmain of the festival, started this innovative event that uses the power of film to raise money for charity causes around the world.
