FAIRFIELD, Connecticut, – ITEX New England, a barter company headquartered in Fairfield, is sponsoring an Art Show in Stamford open to current and potential clients on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. It is a social and networking event with the opportunity to buy –through the ITEX barter program – art pieces ranging from local artist to Picasso. The event provides a rare opportunity to see barter firsthand. Non-members are invited to learn about the barter process and its potential benefits. The event will be held at the 84 Park lounge, on 84 West Park Place in Stamford, from 5PM to 9PM, where free food will be served in addition to drinks at half-price.
Katia Garcon, Director of Business Development at ITEX New England, explains, “Art is regularly bought and sold through our office, so an Art Show is a great event to get together current members and other business owners and leaders in Fairfield County and beyond to mingle. And if while mingling they would like to learn more about how barter can help their businesses’ bottom lines, I’ll be there to answer questions.”
