Ontario Solar Provider Announces Succesful Fundraising, Chooses Enlux Solar As Main Investor

May 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Today, OSP announced the selection of enlux Solar as the company's main investor, and accepted enlux Solar’s offer for a minority stake in the company. This concludes OSP’s initial fundraising efforts.

Christian Wentzel, Director of Finance at OSP, sees the “synergies as very compelling. We are able to rely on the highly capable workforce at enlux [Solar] and the firm’s best practices that have been established over multiple years in Germany, the world’s leader in solar energy. Our knowledge transfer from Germany to Ontario is substantial, as we are now able to rely on a very experienced partner in Germany”.

OSP sees enlux Solar not only as a financial investor but as a determined and well-funded strategic partner. Sebastian Seyfarth, Director of Operations at OSP commented that “enlux Solar does not only have a strong balance sheet but also the operational capabilities to support OSP. We have chosen enlux [Solar] as a partner and investor because of its strong track record in solar PV development and technical expertise”.  Mr. Wentzel explained the fundraising as a “straight forward process, with a large interest among investors in solar PV development companies.”
