2010 marks the 150th anniversary of the first Japanese diplomatic mission to the United States and its enthusiastic reception in New York City on June 16, 1860.
On June 6th, 2010, Japan Day, New York’s largest Japanese summer festival, will held at Central Park in New York City. On the event, Samurai Parade will be demonstrated by more than 100 casts for the cerebration of the 150th anniversary . All the casts wear kimono and make a parade at Central Park in Samurai style.
Mode & Classic LLC proudly provides styling and background research for 3 ambassadors' kimono at Japan Day @ Central Park 2010 in NYC. We will make the samurai style, similar as the traditional Japanese samurai style which excited enthusiasm in New Yorkers in 1860.
We all hope many people in New York City enjoy Samurai Parade on June 6th.
