Red Dragon is book 4 in the SF/vampire series Children of The Dragon by Theresa M. Moore. In 1984 Michael Burton is reporter who covers the war between the dragon tongs in Chinatown San Francisco. He falls for a Chinese policewoman and enounters an ancient who kills for a living, and soon learns that vampires rule the shadows. But when a loved one is killed his marriage plans are put on hold. He forms an uneasy alliance with the Red Dragons, and goes to the ancient for answers. What he learns changes his life forever. When he and his fiancee' are captured by the Black Dragons, Michael discovers that he is more than human when he must fight to save the woman he loves. A tale of murder and revenge mixed with vampire romance and martial arts action and adventure.

Inspired by many martial arts films of the 1970's and 80's, the author weaves a tale of murder and intrigue in Chinatown San Francisco, and explores more of the strange world of the children of the dragon. "I also came up with part of the idea while working as a background actor on the film project Rush Hour III starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. In the scene I was working the World Court was debating what to do with the xai xen, a cadre of Chinese crime syndicates. It was then that the world of the Red and Black Dragons was born."

The new edition was expanded slightly to 164 pages with a new cover depicting a group of characters from the plot. The book and ebook is available for sale now on the Antellus web site, and the ebook has been published on Scribd, Off The Bookshelf and Amazon Kindle. Plans are to release the paperback edition to Amazon in June.

The Children of The Dragon series of science fiction, fantasy, historical fantasy and vampire fusion books is a chronicle of the Xosan, living vampires from the planet Antellus who were once human but were transformed by a dragon's blood. They are stories of fact and fantasy, myth and history, tragedy and triumph, linked together by the common theme of the vampire as hero.

About the author: Theresa M. Moore has 30 years of experience as a writer, illustrator and publisher with an avid interest in science fantasy adventure, history, mythology, and science; and a skeptical interest in pseudoscience and paranormal research. She writes in a strong cinematic style with the mission to educate as well as entertain.
