May 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Georgetown fans need not apply.  Sean Keeley, creator of the No. 1 Syracuse sports blog Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician (http://www.NunesMagician.com) has written the Syracuse fans’ definitive guide on the history of Orange sports, athletes, coaches, traditions and rivalries.  The book, How To Grow An Orange, will be released on May 21th, 2010 and is available through http://www.Smashwords.com and http://www.NunesMagician.com as well as most e-book retailers.

The 24-chapter book presents historical facts, figures and traditions in a way that parents can introduce them to their children. The chapter "Get #44 Tattooed On The Bank Of Their Hand" explain the importance of No. 44, worn by SU legends such as Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Derrick Coleman.  The chapter "Name Them After A Famous Syracuse Athlete Or Personality” helps parents make the arduous decision of whether to name their child after former football star Donovan McNabb, basketball coach Jim Boeheim or football coach Doug Marrone.

In the chapter “Make The Express Their Favorite Movie. Better yet, Make The Express Their Favorite Book,” Keeley ponders whether or not Syracuse football legend Ernie Davis, would have been horrified to find out that a movie based on his life featured so many inaccuracies, including one very prominent one.

Born in New Jersey, Sean Keeley graduated from Syracuse University In 2000. In 2006, he  started the Syracuse blog Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician (http://www.NunesMagician.com) where he agonizes over the Syracuse-related news of the day.  He also writes for SBNation.com and is currently editing Maple Street Press’ 2010-2011 Orange Tip-Off magazine.  He has also written five screenplays.  He has just moved to Seattle where he lives with his wife Lucy, who doesn't really care about Syracuse sports.
