Turner will make his PGA Tour Texas debut at the upcoming HP Byron Nelson Tournament on May 20th, and Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club on May 27th.

A native of Hurst, Texas and father of two, Jerod Turner was working as a general contractor, but dreaming of a career as a golfer. After nine years playing mini-tours and with the help of a little luck, he got a big win at the Soboba Classic on the Nationwide tour last fall, which propelled him onto the PGA tour this year.
