After 5 years as an agent under several national real estate franchises, broker/owner Jacob Clayton came to the realization that the old way of doing business just doesn't work for the consumer or the agents.
"Most brokerages are tasked simply with meeting their bottom line, and dominating their local market share", says Clayton. "This is done mainly through recruiting agents and collecting their monthly fees and commissions and also by keeping as many deals as possible in-house. When the market fell in 2006, the first thing to go was training, support, marketing and infrastructure, but the fees kept going up which has left home buyers, sellers, and agents no choice but to be satisfied with getting less for more."
Clayton Realty Group was built on a different business plan that focuses entirely on the needs of the consumer and the agents through hands-on leadership, team building, strong work ethic, and leveraging technology.
