The NYMAG Jiu-jitsu Academy is the Hudson Valley's First Black Belt BJJ School and the Source of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in the area. The NYMAG Academy was Established in the Hudson Valley in 1997 and since then, our Students have proven the effectiveness of our method in The Ring, The Streets and the Highest Levels of World Class BJJ Competition including the Pan American and World Championships of Jiu-jitsu.

Mixed Martial Arts isn't JUST for Fighters! A large part of our student enrollment is made up of MMA fans who want to be able to learn more & participate in their favorite sport at a recreational level, while at the same time, gaining the Fitness and Self Defense benefits that MMA training will bring without competing. For these students, we provide a safe and welcoming environment in which to be involved in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
