IBS Hyderabad Faculty wins 2010 Oikos Global Case Writing Competitions Awards
21 May 2010, Mumbai - Four faculty members from IBS Center for Management Research (ICMR), a Center of Excellence of IBS Hyderabad, a leading B-School, have bagged two awards in the world's most prestigious 2010 Oikos Global Case Writing competition organized by the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
IBS maintained its consistent performance this year also in the global case writing competitions by bagging the two awards. This was the sixth consecutive year that ICMR had won one or more awards in the Global case writing competitions.
Winning Case Studies
Prof. Debapratim Purkayastha and Ms. Hadiya Faheem won the prize (Social Entrepreneurship track) for the case study "Water Health International:
Another case study, "Business Model Innovation by Better Place: A Green Ecosystem for the Mass Adoption of Electric Cars", written by Prof. Ramalingam Meenakshisundaram and Mr. Besta Shankar won the prize (Corporate Sustainability track) in this prestigious competition.
