Follow on Google News | SBT Land Trust Vice President Rose Mazur To Retire After 21 Years With BankVice President and Land Trust Officer Rosemary Mazur recently celebrated her 21st anniversary with Suburban Bank & Trust, and on Thursday, May 27, she’ll celebrate another milestone – her retirement from SBT.
By: Jennifer M. Rabideau Mazur worked with Beverly Bank until the bank was acquired by SBT in 2000. With SBT, Mazur lead the bank’s land trust area and handled 1031 Exchange transactions. In reflecting on her years with SBT, Mazur mentioned her interactions with customers, many of whom she has been working with for more than 20 years, as the thing she has enjoyed most about her job. “We explain the process, open the trust, and service the account - what we do is comprehensive. We really get to know our customers and we do everything we can to help them organize their trusts for their heirs. Every single customer who walks in this door, I treat as my friend… and my goal is that they leave as a friend of SBT.” Beyond the relationships she has established working with her customers Mazur said that she’ll miss her colleagues at SBT. “I’ve made a lot of friends here. Everyone has been great! SBT is like my family. My job has been easier to do because of the employees in this bank that I’ve worked with over the years.” What’s next for Mazur? “First,” A reception in Mazur’s honor will be held at SBT’s Chicago/Beverly branch, 9901 S.
