The ATS Group Announces New Release of Galileo Performance Explorer

PRLog (Press Release) - May 19, 2010 - – The ATS Group, a leading provider of infrastructure solutions for IBM systems, announced Thursday the newest release of Galileo Performance Explorer, a SaaS performance management tool for the IBM AIX platform that helps managers to clearly view their infrastructure for optimized performance management.

In addition to the full-range of features available in previous releases, including intuitive performance charts in a web-based interface, Galileo PE 2.1 integrates two new key features into the program, namely:

•   Virtual Frames – Galileo PE 2.1 features enhanced virtual frames which allow users to “virtually” combine logical partitions (LPARs) on chosen frames, allowing users to view “what if” scenarios and optimize server resources.
•   Aliases - Assign familiar, intuitive names to servers and LPARs to for quick identification of your environment.

Galileo Performance Explorer 2.1 is available now.  As Galileo is built on a SaaS platform, there is no need for downloads or installs to take advantage of these new features; users of the product have access to the newest features upon logging into an account.
