Scotland’s Hungama Festival At M&d’s

May 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Hungama means crazy fun and that’s exactly what we plan to have. Scotland’s first Hungama Festival was established in 2009 with live entertainment from H Dhami and hosted by Gtown Desi. The event proved to be hugely successful and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

This year Scotland’s Hungama festival is being held on July 4th 2010 at M&D’s in Strathclyde Country Park from 1pm to 8pm. Entry is free for both the festival and theme park and will feature live entertainment such as authentic Indian music along with diverse singing and dancing talent.

A selection of stalls and booths will be available catering to the different wants and needs of attendees. There will be outlets offering a variety of authentic Indian foods as well as hot drinks and snacks. Jewellery and clothing stalls will also be on offer giving the public the opportunity to purchase authentic, traditional items. Mehndi artists will also be in attendance throughout the day.

This event is for the whole family combining great fun with multicultural learning and raising money for a good cause.  Oxfam is the official charity partner of this event and will have their own stall and representatives collecting donations at the one day festival.

Strathclyde Country Park covers over 980 acres of countryside surrounding the Strathclyde Loch. The park is easily reached with excellent transport links by either car or public transport and has established itself as one of Scotland’s leading centre’s for outdoor recreation. The park plays host to thousands of visitors every year and offers something different to each one, making it the ideal location for this fun filled day out for the whole family.
