May Yard of the Month Announced

May 18, 2010 - PRLog -- RUSSELLVILLE - Country Cottage announces the May Russellville Yard of the Month Award.  This month’s winner is the yard of Mark and Beth Stockton.  The Stockton’s yard is well maintained with nice landscaping features around their house including beautiful shrubbery, trees, and a cascading water fountain.  
The purpose of this award is to raise awareness of how beautiful the city of Russellville has become and to encourage the residents of Russellville to take pride in the community.
After seeing all the Yard of the Month features in the newspaper in the past, residents of the Russellville community have begun calling us to nominate their favorite yard.
“We came up with this idea while riding around the city on our weekly van ride,” says Regina Lawler, Resident Services Director at Country Cottage.  “The Residents who are able to ride with us help to pick out the prettiest yards, but all of the Residents at the Cottage get to vote on which should be Yard of the Month.”  Pictures are taken of selected yards so that Residents who are unable to ride along are able to vote, too.
