May 17, 2010 - PRLog -- Geneva, Switzerland – Race Ramps success in the US has fostered worldwide demand for the company’s products. To help supply demand on the European continent, the company has appointed Carex Autozubehör AG as a distributor. The Carex Race Ramps distribution program officially launched at the 2010 Geneva International Motor Show.

“We’re pleased with the increased product demand we have seen from the worldwide automotive community”, states Richard Heinz, Race Ramps founder. “However, it is sometimes difficult to get product to overseas consumers in a timely and cost efficient manner. With Carex, we found a solution to provide European consumers with better product access. Carex functions as a warehouse distributor, as well as a retail outlet, so European consumers can more quickly receive product and avoid overseas shipping costs. There is great synergy between Race Ramps and Carex as we focus on the same customer type: Automotive enthusiasts with low ground clearance vehicles. Race Ramps products provide many unique solutions to gain access to the underside of low ground clearance vehicles. There is nothing else on the market quite like Race Ramps, and the European market is prime for our product. We feel Carex will be an excellent partner in conveying Race Ramps quality, and that their debuting Race Ramps at the 2010 Geneva International Motor Show was very appropriate, as the show embodies the spirit of the automotive enthusiast.” Heinz concludes.

Some of the biggest steps in our successful past were the acquisition of Borbet and Kamei as new suppliers in 1988, new partnerships with BBS, Foliatec and Sparco during the 90s and the launch of our own brand of alloy wheels (LOBOS) in 2004. We are determined to constantly grow our company, and enlarge our range of products so we may continue to thrill our customers for a long time. For more information visit: www.carex.ch.
