Woodridge, Ill. – May 17, 2010 – McDavid Inc., the leader in sports medicine and protective apparel, today finalized a partnership with Junior Rank, known nationally for discovering, ranking and rewarding young athletes, to sponsor the first-ever Elite Diamond Flight Camp and outfit the best of the bunch.

The camp will take place in August and nominations for participation have begun. More than 1,000 sixth through ninth grade hopefuls have applied for the 50 available quarterback and receiver spaces. The top players will be given McDavid Compression shirts to showcase in the final events at year end.
"Our desire is that our partnership with Junior Rank will benefit these young athletes in the greatest way possible," Corpuz said. "The players are given the opportunity to participate in a camp that wouldn't normally exist, with the protection of McDavid gear and the support of Junior Rank, an organization that is fully dedicated to discovering current talent and anticipating future development."
In recent years, McDavid has sponsored more than 30 professional athletes across various sports, including NBA star Dwayne Wade, among others.
