Chattanooga/Cleveland Business Office Furniture Warehouse Acquires Thurman’s New & Used Furniture

May 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Thurman’s New & Used furniture in Cleveland, Tn. was acquired by Office Furniture Warehouse.  Karen Goldman the previous owner of her family’s 30-year old business had sold Thurman’s a few years ago to an investor.  The investor later filed for a bankruptcy and Office Furniture Warehouse completed a successful bid to acquire the company, its current competitor.  Office Furniture Warehouse, is now with this acquisition, one of the largest pre-owned furniture recyclers and liquidators in the state if not Southeast.  OFW closed the current Thurman’s location and merged the inventory into the existing Office Furniture Warehouse locations in Cleveland, Chattanooga and Atlanta.

Karen Goldman, president of Office Furniture Warehouse and partner John Jerman are thrilled with the opportunity to continue to assist the 30-year client base of Thurman’s and to further expand its product inventory and facility service offerings.  Goldman says her previous clients from her family’s business can expect to receive the same quality furniture and service at OFW that they had come to expect at Thurman’s.
