Chicago, IL --- Human Synergistics International (http://www.humansynergistics.com)
The session will be conducted by Janet L. Szumal, Ph.D., who, in addition to working with Human Synergistics on simulations, surveys, inventories, and more is also a registered yoga instructor who currently teaches both adult and “buff seniors” yoga classes.
The session will be filled on a first come first serve basis, and will integrate basic poses from Hatha Yoga. The session will be accessible both to beginners and practicing yogis alike. Participants should wear comfortable workout attire and will be given a free t-shirt. Conference attendees with questions about the session or Human Synergistics can find out more information on the Expo floor at booth #1231.
“This session provides a terrific energizing break for attendees of the four-day-long conference. We will be demonstrating through basic yoga poses how sometimes the best way to maximize individual, team, and organizational potential is by first maximizing your own,” says Szumal.
Participants will experience first-hand how “Constructive”
Questions the session will answer include: How can you create awareness through measurement?
“At Human Synergistics, we approach organizational development from a holistic perspective,”
“We believe that before you can start impacting and affecting things like employee engagement or satisfaction, you need to address the thinking and behavioral styles of your organization, its leadership and its employees.”
While much of the presentation will emphasize understanding and experiencing the styles measured by Human Synergistics, the session will largely be focused on providing a relaxing and enjoyable yoga session.
“We’ve designed this session to be accessible for everyone at the ASTD show. Our goal is to help you wake up your mind and body, and to provide some easily understandable information on how you can do the same for your organization. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there,” said Szumal.
