Juneteenth Twin Cities 2010 Urban Stage Nation Presents: The First Annual Praise Dance Competition

May 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Minneapolis, Minnesota- On June 19th 2010, Juneteenth will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in the state of Minnesota. As we celebrate our progress through history we will also mark the progress of worship in the church and celebrate “dance”. Praise Dance has generated a ground swell of excitement in congregations throughout the United States and the world, as dance ministries “dance like David danced”.

On June 19th at the Juneteenth Festival, the Urban Stage Nation will have its’ first annual Praise Dance Competition. We are inviting all churches to enter and participate. After all entrants have performed, the winner will be presented with the David’s Dance Award and a cash prize. The winner will be the dance ministry that emotionally engages the audience the most.

There is a $50.00 group entry fee. Each group will be given three minutes to perform and are encouraged to practice a one minute tie breaker in the event of a tie. There can only be two dance ministries per church congregation to enter the competition.
