LAS VEGAS, NV--Bilingual singing sensation, multi-award winning performer, and crossover singer/songwriter Veronica Lopez, has released her newest single, “Si Se Puede, La Cancion” (“Yes We Can, The Song”). Once again, Veronica touches the hearts of immigrants rallying for change in this new land of their dreams. Often heard as the chant for rallies nationwide, “yes we can” expresses the empowerment of a new generation of immigrants to our great nation.
Most recently, Veronica received accolades and a spot on the Grammy Ballot and the Latin Grammy Ballot for her ballad, “America’s Glory, The Anthem” (Spanish version, “La Gloria de America”). Originally written as a tribute to her father, the song pays homage to immigrants of all nationalities who come to America, struggle but maintain hope and determination, and ultimately become citizens, paving the way for their children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams.
The petite Latina singer with the colossal voice has been compared to popular vocalist Edie Gorme and the late Tejano singing sensation, Selena.
