“Picture the standard of the Hollywood club scene,” says TNA co-founder, Veronica Amador. “It’s a posh rooftop bar with a pool where mainstream music is played. You’d swear you were stepping into the latest Lil’ Wayne video.”
TNA aims to be the antithesis with no dress code, decent drink prices, and progressive music, says Amador.
Although Senses continues to evolve to stay fresh, their recipe for success is unchanging: people get in free before 10 p.m. if they RSVP on Facebook or on Going.com. TNA stays true to their “anti-Hollywood”
May 29 will mark the fifth Senses event since it re-opened at the newly restored Fox Theatre in Pomona. To accommodate increasing attendance, TNA has expanded the event into new spaces such as the rooftop overlooking downtown Pomona. Attending will be TNA artist MC Prototype, fresh from his performance at Paid Dues, the largest independent hip-hop festival in the world.
