Dunes Introduces “New Wave Cinema” With Annual Movies On The Beach

While the French may lay claim to “New Wave Cinema,” Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort has its own take with its Movies on the Beach 2010. The public is invited to pull up a beach chair or towel and enjoy a wide range of first rate and family film on an 18’ by 20’ screen. The movies are free though there is a cost for parking. A quintessential Southern California experience, Movies on the Beach has become one of the Dunes most popular summer attractions. The films are projected every Friday and Saturday evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends. Concessions are available as is nearby access to the critically acclaimed Back Bay Bistro, where guests can enjoy a fine dining experience before or after the film.

Newport Dunes Resort is a 100-acre waterfront resort featuring a 386-site state-of-the-art RV park, 450-slip marina and a private waveless beach and playground that has been enjoyed by families since 1958.
