Oklahoma City, OK -- The OKC Health and Wellness Group is sponsoring a FREE Family Health and Sports Expo starting at 10a.m. June 12, 2010 at the Biltmore Hotel in Oklahoma City.
The OKC Health and Wellness Group,Ltd. along with the Biltmore Hotel Oklahoma is hosting a Free Family Health and Sports Expo, Saturday June 12 from 10am to 3pm in the south building. The location is 401 S. Meridian at I40 in Oklahoma City. We encourage parents and grandparents to join us with the kids to learn more about what Oklahomans can do to keep their families healthy.
The booths planned for the kids include Smiley O’Riley from Dental Depot, Ms. Katie Leigh with Itty Bitty Dittys for kids, OKC Fire Department, a Red Dirt Ready station, a Sugar Shack and health food station, beaded jewelry, a magician and other fun activities. These and more fun activities will be going on in the Atrium in the south building at the Biltmore Hotel.
In the main ballrooms there will be several 30 minute mini-lecture series including topics such as: “The State of Nutrition In Our Food Today” given by Jim Rhoades, Nationally known Nutritionist, “Change Your Mind. . . Change Your Life” given by Dr. Don White, Clinical Hypnotherapist;
The presentations will be concluded with an “Ask the Experts” session. This is where the families can gather specific information about their own health concerns, book appointments or consultations, visit the wide range of vendors that will be giving out free samples and information about specific products available that may help families to achieve their health and wellness goals.
