Joseba and Bakartxo are focussing on the flow of energy within the couple, in close and in open embrace. Their students profit strongly from the new way Joseba and Bakartxo combine Tango Nuevo and traditional Argentine Tango.
Based on their training with Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Chicho Frumboli and Pablo Villarraza and Dana Frigoli they have created a style of their own: their Tango Nuevo is soft, lascivious and dynamic. And they love traditional music. How well this goes together they showed in "De Recuerdos y Tango" (their show "Of Memories and Tango"). They are inspired by the refined subtlety and joyous swing of old Tango music. In their classes they work very intensely with each individual participant and know how to explain even complex sequences of movements.
Participants like Joseba´s and Bakartxo´s very gentle and relaxed way of teaching. With their fine sense of humour they create a stress free atmosphere and make participants feel well even while learning more demanding elements of Tango.
Who likes to dance Tango Nuevo yet has problems to dance it in traditional milongas or on crowded dance floors because there simply is no space for performing big “figures”, definitely will profit from this course with Joseba and Bakartxo.
In their Tango workshop at La Rogaia participants learn subtle Tango Nuevo movements which can be danced beautifully and relaxed as well with traditional as with modern tango music.
No matter which music is played in your favourite milonga, with the elements and the dynamics you learn in the class with Joseba and Bakartxo at La Rogaia no one needs to remain frustrated on their seats, because “the music doesn´t fit” or because there is few space on the dance floor.
Participants of ArgentineTango holidays at Villa La Rogaia also appreciate the lessons in a small group and the relaxed, familiar atmosphere at La Rogaia.
