San Francisco, CA (Marketwire - February 2, 2010) - InsideView today announced its 2009 growth numbers, trumping the worst economic downturn in decades with a 273 percent increase in revenue. During 2009, InsideView announced multiple record quarters, a premier partnership with NetSuite, multiple industry accolades, the launch of the Smart Cloud and Buzz Tab and additional integrations of comprehensive social intelligence from Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Success in a Recession
InsideView’s momentum in 2009 was foreseen as The New York Times reported on the need for technologies like InsideView during the bleak downturn: “As companies continue to put the brakes on expenditures and reduce staffs, maximizing efficiency becomes even more essential for businesses looking to weather the recession.” SalesView now boasts more than 26,000 end users.

In May 2009, InsideView was named to the JMP Securities Hot 100 List of best privately held software companies.

InsideView’s success was shared by its customers. The company was recently part of a 2009 Q4 independent study by research firm Aberdeen Group, which reported that InsideView customers outperform their non-user counterparts by 27 percent as measured by indicators in quota achievement, conversion and win/loss rates and overall revenue performance. Success with all CRMs
Throughout 2009 and into 2010, SalesView continues to be the model for building a successful CRM offering. Last year, NetSuite chose InsideView as a premier partner in its social CRM launch, as well as its new social ERP initiative. SalesView is the only application delivering social intelligence natively within NetSuite.

SalesView also continues to be the highest-rated application at the salesforce.com AppExchange, a nod to the application’s convenient integration and massive productivity results across the landscape of small to large enterprises.

InsideView, an Oracle® PartnerNetwork and Oracle CRM On Demand Inner Circle member, also announced significant enhancements to its integration of SalesView with both Oracle CRM On Demand and Siebel CRM applications, in support of Oracle’s Social CRM initiative.

Success with Social Media
InsideView’s integration of intelligence from Twitter and other social media sites also significantly impacted businesses in 2009, filtering relevant business data from traditional and social media sources into social business intelligence, helping companies develop a better knowledge base on potential sales leads.

InsideView CEO Umberto Milletti was featured in a November Forbes column focused on tracking social media for business: “[SalesView] enables a sales person who is evaluating which leads to pursue, to make better decisions by seeing more information on the background and context of the company.”

Further, InsideView was named alongside Google and Facebook by CRM Magazine as a “Rising Star” in companies pushing the boundaries of social CRM.

"InsideView’s growth in 2009 is a testament to both our leadership in social intelligence and Sales 2.0 technology, as well as the need for companies whose innovations bring relevant and actionable Cloud-based applications to the enterprise," said Milletti. "SalesView is a premier and accessible solution for sales teams to improve their productivity and overall performance. We are extremely proud of our success in 2009, and look forward to continuing our rapid growth in 2010."
