RealView Depth-Enhancing Technology Wins Best in Show at Retail Vision

PRLog (Press Release) - May 13, 2010 - RealView Innovations has been awarded overall “Best in Show at this year’s Retail Vision Europe, a major accomplishment for a company that is a new player in the world of optical technology and home entertainment. RealView’s patented Depth-Enhancing Technology was on display at the annual retailer event in London in the form of several new products including the V-Screen for Sony® PSP™, the Deep Screen for large displays and monitors as well as accessories for iPone™ and iTouch™. This marks the first time this award has been given to an Irish company.

RealView launched the V-Screen for PSP earlier this year at CES, receiving a tremendous amount of critical praise. RealView’s technology was referred to as one of the “Hottest Gadgets” by numerous media outlets including the Washington Post, CBS News and ABC News.  

Retail Vision Europe (http://www.retailvisioneurope.com/) is an internationally recognized trade event for major retailers and distributors as well as for vendors seeking to distribute their product throughout Europe. Retail Vision brings together Europe’s best and brightest retailers of consumer electronics and consumer I.T. The winner of the “Best in Show” award is based on a vote taken by all show participants including major retailers and vendors from around the world. In announcing the award, Nick Cabrera, Managing Director of Vision Events, declared that RealView’s products “captured the imagination” and subsequently stated that RealView had won the award by a large margin. And earlier in the day, Bob Snyder, Editor in Chief of the ‘Distribution Channel’ noted that RealView’s technology is “a significant development in the 3D television industry.”
