PORTSMOUTH, R.I…Ronstan Tensile Architecture – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tensile cables, rods and bars for architectural and structural applications – will exhibit at the North American Steel Construction Conference (NASCC): The Steel Conference and the 2010 Structures Congress, May 12-15, at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

During the conference, Ronstan Tensile Architecture will display its new range of Large Diameter Tension Rod Systems, available in stainless and carbon steel. The new steel rod ranges – the ARS2 stainless option and ARS4 carbon option – are designed for bar sizes exceeding one inch and as large as 4 inches, with engineered break loads up to 900,000 pounds. Additionally, Ronstan will showcase its Hidden Thread Cable Railing Infill System, which removes visible threads on the threaded studs to meet an architect’s aesthetic requirements.
Representatives from Ronstan’s U.S. and Melbourne offices will be attending the NASCC Steel Conference, which will feature more than 200 industry exhibits as well as roughly 215 educational seminars. Hosted by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the 2010 NASCC incorporates the Annual Stability Conference, NISD Annual Meeting, 19th Analysis & Computation Specialty Conference and CASE Spring Risk Management Convocation.
