Marketing Agency Principal Crystal Washington has been named as a 2010 Evolving Eve Award distinction from Houston Woman Magazine. The Evolving Eve is given to a woman who has accomplished a significant, positive change in her life, improving not only her status in life but also the lives of those around her. Crystal was nominated for her commitment to providing quality marketing services to hundreds of Houston minority businesses after walking away from a lucrative corporate career.
When Crystal started her firm, she had very few contacts in Houston’s urban business community; the market in which she desired to reach. She immediately began building an image that catered to her desired market and in less than one year, she had laid the groundwork for thousands of business owners to connect through Black-Market Exchange.
As the Principal of Black-Market Exchange; a Houston based marketing firm, she develops marketing strategies and implements practical tactics which yield measurable results for her clients. The firm continues to experience substantial growth as a result of Crystal’s contagious energy and sincere desire to help others succeed.
“It is truly a blessing to participate in the success of my clients”, says Washington. “As I continue to evolve, my hope is that my clients will evolve with me and elevate their business to the next level; reaching heights they once thought were unimaginable.”
Houston Woman Magazine will host its Fourth Annual Nominate HER Awards Luncheon on Friday, May 21 at La Colombe D'Or. The gala event honors excellent role models in eight categories: Broad Shoulders, Community Angel, Evolving Eve, Gutsy Gal, Maximum Mom, Savvy Sister, Tomorrow's Woman and Wise Woman. Each of the honorees is first nominated by a reader of Houston Woman Magazine and then chosen by a panel of judges, composed of HWM staff and community leaders.
