“Forward” is Wisconsin’s state motto, and that is the direction our state is headed thanks to a series of bills aimed at business and job growth that Governor Jim Doyle signed at Schwabe North America’s headquarters on Monday.
At a press conference with Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle, Schwabe North America, Inc., Governor Doyle signed bills that authorize the creation of two additional enterprise zones, provide tax benefits for businesses in these zones, award cash grants to community development corporations, expand energy efficiency loans, and provide tax credits for renewable energy development.
Economic challenges require active participation from both private and public sources. As a growing Wisconsin business, Schwabe North America was proud to be chosen as the location for the signing of these important bills that can help job creation and retention in a tough economic climate.
