Balt, MD April 24, 2010- Eastern Shore, Baltimore Maryland - On April 24th during the Earth Day Celebration, we were able to help the town of Chestertown by shredding 3000 pounds of paper. That’s 1000 more pounds of paper than the first time we came out to do an event. This can be broken down to say that the town was able to save an estimated 25 trees and up to 10,500 gallons of water by recycling paper. We had a turnout of about 70 people who helped to make this day a great success. We would like to thank Chestertown for hosting the third Shred Day Event in Fountain Park. These events are so beneficial to the community and we are glad that East Coast Shredding could be a part of the campaign to become a greener community.
