Award Winning Composer, Keyboardist And Producer David Frederick Releases - Remastered Sketches

May 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Award winning composer, keyboardist and producer David Frederick, will release a remastered version of his acclaimed jazz fusion album for df|MG Records entitled Sketches with available digital download on iTunes, Amazon, LastFM, Rhapsody, Napster and more Immediately.

Originally recorded in 1994, Sketches features Frederick as composer, keyboardist, synthesizer-drum machine programmer, and producer. Amazingly, with the exception of the track “Illusions”, which features live saxophone the entire album and all instruments were performed solely by Frederick.

This inspired and eclectic album of ten original compositions touches a broad range of musical styles that range from jazz fusion (Are You Ok, Skylines, Didn’t You Know, Downtown Life) to Michel Camilo inspired Latin Jazz (Turtle and Salsa e’ Samba), to more contemporary and smooth jazz (Illusions and After Dark).

“It was so much fun working on Sketches. It was a very organic experience where composition, performance and record-ing blended together to create an album that literally flowed from my mind and fingers in real time”, stated Mr. Frederick. “Being able to come back to this album and remaster it with fresh ears gave me the opportunity to rediscover and appreciate some of my earlier work”. “ I look forward to sharing it with my listeners”, stated Mr. Frederick.
