After conquering every karaoke lounge and competition in Boise, Idaho, Laura Miller ventured out into the great unknown. After making the rounds throughout Northern Nevada touring casino lounges and making waves in the Reno music scene; she ventured further East.
Shattered Images soon discovered her musical talents and quickly signed her to a deal. "Laura's voice resonates with power as she demonstrates her wide range of vocal abilities," said the founder of Shattered Images.
Shattered Images was founded early in 2005 but due to financial difficulties and many hardships, it took a little while to get it off the ground. The owners of the company believe that all the hardships and hard times proved to be just a big learning ground for things yet to come. The label only signs aspiring talent who are capable of producing great art with lasting stamina. They do not hire flash in the pan pop artists. They see their talent as a long term investment that spawn lasting relationships. "Sure, we want to make money but we want our talent to be happy and enjoy their time with us.. We only sign those who have the foresight to see it's about the music. We don't want anything watered down. Just real music," stated the company's representative.
