Antellus Reissues NAGRASANTI In Print and Ebook Formats
The private independent publisher has republished the 3rd book in the SF/vampire series Children of The Dragon by Theresa M. Moore as a large paperback edition and in PDF format.
NAGRASANTI is an illustrated anthology of science fiction and vampire short stories and novelettes composed of stories which inspired the series, illustrated versions of the next four books, and a gallery of illustrations from the series "Blood Songs" rendered in grayscale inks and acrylics by the author. Originally published at 368 pages at 8.5" x 11", it has been streamlined and reduced to 352 pages and retails for $24.95. The book is available as print on demand. The PDF ebook has been specially formatted to be read on a computer or mobile device screen and tops out at the same size with 315 pages. It has been issued at a retail price of $11.99, down from the original estimate of $14.99. Both are available online direct from the Antellus web site, Lulu, Scribd, Off The Bookshelf, Amazon and other online booksellers. A video presentation is posted on YouTube and Vimeo.
"We had to hold back from publishing NAGRASANTI in ebook format owing to its large size and download speed," author and owner Theresa M. Moore said. "When we realized that it was finally possible we considered the market effect an anthology of this type would have when issued in both formats. The rarity of illustrated anthologies in the genre made it a question of whether there is a demand for them, but with the growing popularity of illustrated books like James Gurney's 'Dinosaurs', Greg Hildebrandt's 'DRACULA', and many of Neil Gaiman's books, we think we have a worthy contribution to the library."
Market studies have shown that a comparable anthology without illustrations would command prices of $30.00 or more, and graphic novels exist at about the same price.
The Children of The Dragon series of science fiction, fantasy, historical fantasy and vampire fusion books is a chronicle of the Xosan, living vampires from the planet Antellus who were once human but were transformed by a dragon's blood. They are stories of fact and fantasy, myth and history, tragedy and triumph, linked together by the common theme of the vampire as hero.
About the author: Theresa M. Moore has 30 years of experience as a writer, illustrator and publisher with an avid interest in science fantasy adventure, history, mythology, and science; and a skeptical interest in pseudoscience and paranormal research. She writes in a strong cinematic style with the mission to educate as well as entertain.
