AUSTIN–May 12, 2010. Jean-Marc Fray French Antiques, a leading source of fine 17th - mid 20th century European antiques and fine art in Austin, Texas, today announced that its best-selling contemporary artists, Meredith Pardue, has officially moved to Austin and set up her studio in a loft in downtown Austin.
Jean-Marc Fray, Pardue’s exclusive representative in Austin, is hosting an art opening in his gallery at Whit Hanks (1009 W. 6th St.) on Thursday June 3, 2010 – opening reception with the artist from 6:00-8:00pm. The show, entitled “Decade”, is a celebration of Pardue’s return to Austin after being away for ten years. “It is really an expression of the excitement I feel about being back in Austin, being part of a vibrant art community, and what lies ahead,” says Pardue. Appropriately, the show will feature ten new pieces, running through June 30, 2010.
