Triunfo YMCA May Camp For Las Virgenes Students Set for May 24 through May 28

May 11, 2010 - PRLog -- WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CALIF.--Students in the Las Virgenes Unified School District have the opportunity to attend a special Triunfo YMCA camp May 24 through 28 at Willow Elementary School (YMCA at 29026 Laro Drive in Agoura Hills). Schools are closed during the week of May 24 because of budgetary issues.

   Campers in kindergarten through eighth grade will take part in age-appropriate, themed activities. "Each day will feature a different theme," says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA program director. "Monday is sports day. On Tuesday, we'll walk to Carl's Jr. for lunch and then decorate flowerpots and plant flowers. On Wednesday, we'll toss water balloons and do face painting. Thursday is a walking trip to Rite Aid for ice cream and then group games. On Friday, we'll make play dough and mini pizzas."
