FDC helps the earth move for brownfield site specialist

May 11, 2010 - PRLog -- McAuliffe, which has £4m annual turnover, was looking to upgrade its on-line image, with a new website as a focal point, including professionally-written copy. The main aim was to overcome the dated feel of the original website and to strengthen its marketing message. McAuliffe chose FDC over two other agencies, primarily because of its proven design capabilities and close-knit, approachable team.
McAuliffe marketing manager Richard Walker said it was an easy choice to make. He said: “One provider we approached had the skills and knowledge, but not the design skills we wanted. The other was a full service design and marketing agency which offered a less personal approach.
“We were concerned that we would be just another client, rather than being able to build a long-term relationship with an agency that really understood us.
“FDC adopts an open and honest approach and fitted with our intentions. They understood completely why we were changing our marketing approach – from being service-driven to client-driven, where others didn’t.
Dale Moreton, FDC’s managing director, said: “We were asked to help McAuliffe because the last company they worked with couldn’t provide a professional design for them – they were a web development company, rather than a full service design agency.
“We will be looking at their website, as well as helping them get their message out there more generally.”
