Traders Library Trading Forum
From April 23-25, 15 of the top educators in the trading industry today gathered with about 130 traders at the 2010 Traders Library Chicago Forum, one of the largest events in the company’s history.
The desire for both amateur and professional traders to learn from each other was proven when guests from all over the country, as well as from countries as far away as New Zealand and Thailand, traveled to Chicago to become students once again. Their teachers were some of the best traders in the world, known not only for their skills in the market, but also as authors and educators. Speakers at the forum included Chuck LeBeau, Jake Bernstein, John Person, Jea Yu, Tom Sosnoff, Larry McMillan, Price Headley, Todd Gordon, Robert Prechter, Toni Turner, Steve Nison, Norman Hallett, Joe Cusick, Grace Morris and Justine Williams-Lara.
The forum was held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Schaumburg Convention Center, just north of Chicago. Traders from all different areas and professions had the chance to meet and share tips as well as lively conversation. The presentations were held in small, personal rooms, giving the listeners the chance to interact with the speaker one on one .
In order for the forum to be valuable to traders in every field of the market, each speaker gave a presentation in their own area of expertise. Steve Nison, known for over thirty years for his profound knowledge of candlesticks, taught guests first hand about how to profit with candlestick charts. Robert Prechter shared his wisdom of the Elliott Wave principle, and Tood Gordon held a session on Forex trading. Other topics covered by presentation include ETFs, Fibonacci, exit strategies, short trading, and many more.
One of the highlights of the event was the Special Awards Banquet, this year held in honor of Chuck LeBeau. LeBeau was presented the Traders Library Hall Of Fame Award, an honor given to successful traders who are also educators in various fields of trading. The award focuses on the recipient’s ability to teach and share techniques used while trading. LeBeau is
an expert in the field of exit strategies and has been in the business for over 40 years.
