To help the industry increase its marketing and public relations, Cochrane & Associates is now offering, for a limited time, discounted services to new customers from the indoor air quality (IAQ) and environmental industries that belong to the Environmental Information Association (EIA).
The EIA collects, generates and disseminates information concerning environmental hazards to occupants of buildings, industrial sites and facilities. It is a private, non-profit group providing unbiased and objective information about asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality, above and below ground storage tanks, environmental site assessments and related topics.
Established in 1983 as the National Asbestos Council, its multidisciplinary membership now includes engineers, architects, attorneys, trainers, consultants, contractors, building managers and owners, industrial hygienists, physicians, government and military personnel, laboratories, equipment manufacturers and others.

Cochrane & Associates, a focused public relations and marketing firm specializing in the IAQ, mold and environmental industries was founded in 2006 by Paul Cochrane, a well known IAQ business development professional. “Cochrane & Associates has been actively involved in supporting the EIA and is a member of their volunteer marketing committee,” reported Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates. “Offering a discount to EIA members is a further way for us to show our support and appreciation for all they do for our industry,” he continued.
Many industry professionals know Mr. Cochrane from his many years as Vice President of Business Development at Aerotech Laboratories. At Aerotech Laboratories he helped grow what was at the time a small regional laboratory with 10 employees to well over 300 in less than 4 years.
