UK Property and mortgage website Obligo.co.uk has developed an innovative system, named PriceMyPlace, that will accurately value most UK presidential property simply by entering the address and postcode for the subject property.
PriceMyPlace pulls data from reliable sources to accurately predict value, the characteristics of the property, and show the property on both a map and with Google street scene.
According to Chris Gardner of Obligo, PriceMyPlace is the cornerstone to much of the functionality that Obligo will be offering consumers in the near future. He said “PriceMyPlace is central in our strategy to create engaging and useful mortgage and property tools for consumers to gather information. Well informed consumers make better mortgage and property decisions. In the next few months it will become apparent how we intend to take the results from our free online valuations ands make them powerful aides to our mortgage and credit offerings”
He went on “when it comes to mortgages we want to try to engage consumers much earlier in the mortgage buying process. To do this we believe we must provide borrowers with relevant and non-selling content and tools. What we are trying to achieve is a quantum leap in mortgage and property advice. We intend to learn from consumers by including them in our beta testing program and applying their feedback to future developments”
Obligo.co.uk intends to launch with a full service in the next few months after beta testing and feedback from users.
