United Kingdom, May 2010 – Emerald Group Publishing Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Jeff Runner (University of Rochester, New York, USA) as Series Editor for the Syntax and Semantics book series. Professor Runner will be taking on the role immediately, working on the series’ next volume expected for publication in 2011.
The aim of the Series is to publish innovative research involving the sub-systems of grammar that interface with syntax and semantics. Professor Runner comments, "I am honored and excited to take on the role of Series Editor for Syntax & Semantics. The series enjoys a long history of publishing cutting edge and influential research on syntax and semantics and their interfaces. From novel approaches to data collection to different ways of conceptualizing the components of the grammar to new cross-linguistic data, this is an exciting time for syntax and semantics research and I look forward to working with editors and authors to provide a venue for this new research."
The series will promote, in particular, research that brings novel forms of empirical evidence to bear on issues in theoretical syntax and semantics.
The series is being made available electronically through Emerald’s eBook collections, and is ranked by Thomson Reuters (ISI). You can see more information on the series by visiting http://info.emeraldinsight.com/
