SAN DIEGO – At any adult age, women are trying to fight the effects of aging, stay young and vibrant to play care-taker to children or aging parents, and look their best.
According to San Diego’s acclaimed women’s health and aging specialist, Steven A. Brody, M.D., Ph.D., the secret to staying young and health are in natural hormones. On May 13, San Diegan’s will have access to these secrets and more in a free seminar panel with the regions premier anti-aging experts.
“I see people every day who spend thousands of dollars on crèmes and serums to make themselves look and younger,” said Dr. Brody. “However, the secret to this youthful bliss is often times beneath the skin.”
Dr. Brody will moderate a seminar, featuring Dr. Patricia Lotufo as the speaker, on the science of living longer. The duo will cover fact versus fiction in aging; how to safely treat hot flashes, fatigues and bone loss; and effective ways to lose weight, and increase libido, heart health and energy.
“As we get older, we think a lot of things like hot flashes and bone loss are inevitable and just a part of life,” added Dr. Brody. “The truth is that while many of these things can be a part of the aging process, there are many things we can do to ease the symptoms and help people age in a healthy and graceful manner.”
This event, which runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m., affords attendees a rare opportunity to learn from Brody, who is an internationally recognized clinical specialist, lecturer and researcher in nutritional genomics, anti-aging, menopausal medicine and neuroendocrinology, with a special interest in the role of nutrition in assisted reproduction.
