Visiting Physicians Association® Names Arnold Practice Manager at Corpus Christi Office

May 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Corpus Christi, TX – May 6, 2010 – Visiting Physicians Association® (“VPA®”, www.visitingphysicians.com) announced the hiring of Carolyn Arnold as the new practice manager for its Corpus Christi office at 4818 Everhart Road.

America’s leader in house call medicine and specialists in geriatric care, VPA is staffed by more than 145 highly-qualified physicians across 31 locations in nine states available to assist in the diagnosis and ongoing medical treatment of seniors. VPA also has offices in Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin and Virginia.  VPA’s Corpus Christi location covers Nueces, Aransas, Kleberg and San Patricio Counties.

In her role as practice manager, Arnold is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the administrative and clinical area.  She also will be handling management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures for the physician practice.

Arnold has 18 years of experience in continuing medical educational programs.  Prior to joining VPA, Arnold provided consulting services to Corpus Christi physicians interested in obtaining accredited courses for healthcare professionals and worked with community leaders to determine education needs in the area.

Her other positions have included two stints at the Texas A&M Health Science Center, most recently as a program coordinator, and supervisor of community education and marketing at Girling Health Care, Inc.

Arnold is a graduate of Texas A&I University, now called Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and holds a certification in Essentials and Guideline Training from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®).
